Halfway through the rehearsals, the scenic writing of this polyphonic show takes shape. Composing with the matter is a particular thing... It requires time to settle, for the multiple layers of meaning to be revealed as they unfold. Whether they agree, confront or contradict each other. There are moments of floating where chaos sets in. But it is because it manifests itself that unexpected things appear! Inert but living presences, sounds that touch the heart, lost and distraught bodies. And this gaze of the characters/performers that suddenly reveals to us what we were looking for : the acknowledgement of this other human on stage who lives the same vertigo as me who looks at them.
